October 1, 2020 (Dallas, TX)Botisimo, the provider of a powerful, cross-platform cloud-bot that helps live streamers more effectively engage with their audience, announces that it has secured an initial seed round of funding from Mason Bridge, an operating partner that actively manages and invests in software-driven businesses. With the investment of $700,000 USD, Botisimo will be harnessed with the ability to grow its company, increase its user base, and develop significant new features for new and existing customers.

“For live streamers, in the past, they had to leverage numerous broadcast platforms and then use tools specifically compatible with each platform which made the process of streaming tedious and time-consuming,” said Oscar Armstrong, CEO of Botisimo. “With Botisimo, we are the first fully supported, customizable, cloud-based, cross-platform set of complementary tools for streamers, allowing them the ability to connect with their followers easily and with the most high-tech tools on the market.”

“The live streaming industry has seen 100% year-over-year growth and is showing no sign of slowing down,” said Tim Storer, Managing Director of Mason Bridge. “Everyone from gamers, musicians, hobbyists, celebrities, and more connecting with their audience on social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, and Twitch. Live viewership on Twitch alone is clocking in at nearly two billion hours watched each month globally*. At Mason Bridge, we believe Botisimo is well-positioned to take advantage of this market growth by providing the tools streamers need to more effectively engage with their growing audiences, and we are pleased to support them through this seed funding round.”

To date, Botisimo’s technology has been leveraged by more than 100,000 live streamers with notable clients including Monstercat, Snoop Dogg, and Dude Perfect, the latter of which broadcasts to more than 53 million subscribers. Botisimo currently integrates with Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Discord, and Slack platforms. Botisimo was also the first to introduce a team-based chatbot and tool suite for professional eSports organizations and stream teams.

“Unlike many no-cost, platform-specific tools offered on the market today, Botisimo offers a transparent business model based on a small subscription fee whereas other free tool options provide no support and make money by selling their clients—and audiences—data,” continued Armstrong. “This is an important differentiator for Botisimo as consumer concerns around privacy online continue to grow.”

“Streamlabs, a competitor to Botisimo, was recently acquired by Logitech for $118M after just five years of operation which works to highlight the explosive growth and high demand for this new live streaming entertainment wave and further demonstrate our interest in partnering with Botisimo,” continued Storer.
